Sarah Palin Begins 2012 Campaign - Shill, Baby, Shill!

Apparently someone forgot to tell Sarah Palin this isn’t a campaign year.
In her much-hyped Facebook post from yesterday in which she sought to give the president advice, imploring, “What the heck, give me a call,” her real message rang louder than any criticism of the president: she would have done a better job as president.
It seems we are looking at a very early start to a 2012 campaign bid for the White House.
The Facebook post bore Palin’s hallmark self-contradictory campaign style. First she mocks what she refers to as the “’enlightened’ and ‘informed’ mainstream media,” and then goes on to cite an article from The Washington Post to support her argument.
Which seems to be, amazingly, an argument that we need more government regulation. “Unless government appropriately regulates oil developments and holds oil executives accountable,” she writes, “the public will not trust them to drill, baby, drill.” Palin, in line with classical Republican strategy, has been a fierce opponent of regulation broadly, and in September 2008 famously was incapable of naming a single instance in which her running mate John McCain had advocated for stricter regulation of any kind in his long career.
The Facebook post was also self-congratulatory (the telltale Palin campaign quality second only to self-contradicting). “As a CEO,” she writes of her stint as governor, “it was my job to look out for the interests of Alaskans with the same intensity and action as the oil company CEOs looked out for the interests of their shareholders.” True. How well she did that job before resigning mid-term is a subject of more than a little debate.
Palin appears to be back on the campaign trail. If she decides to run on a platform of government regulation and stricter corporate oversight, casting Barack Obama as an under-regulating freewheeler, it should be a very interesting campaign year. Or years, apparently.
I think you NAILED IT!
What was her job before fooling the Alaskan electorate into voting her governor??!?

She’s been campaigning since she was nominated as VP. The woman is a lunatic ( and no I’m not a liberal). Her supporters are not objective about her real record. She has not been a real conservative or Christian in practice. She’s a pathological liar and the MSM has done a terrible job vetting her. Conservatives…you are just asking for a nightmare and defeat if you nominate this narcissistic nut job. Just ASK Republicans and conservatives in Alaska and they will tell you- she is unbalanced. Please listen to to them and open your eyes.

What kind of society lets this whack-job continue to think she is significant?
