Dinner With The Band Premieres This Month

You guys know DJs Finger on the Pulse. They are the handsome identical-twin DJs that spin at all the Death+Taxes parties. I don’t know if we can get them to work for us anymore, now that they are television stars.

The premise is simple and elegant: Bands come over to chef Sam Mason’s house. There he cooks for them as the band expounds on food and the glory of life on the road in a tidy sit-down, hang-out, interview sort of thing. It’s how journalism should be.

The show debuts on November 24 on IFC at 11pm. This season’s guests include Les Savy Fav, Kid Sister with Flosstradamus, MEN, YACHT, Final Fantasy and Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings.

I’ve had dinner with Les Savy Fav before — it was my first interview ever. You’re going to wanna watch that one.
