Pete Wentz Plays God via Twitter

Shannon Hassett :: Thursday, February 4th, 2010 3:00 pm

Fall Out Boy is irrelevant, almost as irrelevant as you’re wishing Twitter could be, but let’s face the harsh reality folks: they’ve both made their way onto the map of cultural relevancy. One can certainly achieve this mark through an inherent mockability — clearly the case of the former — but by capitalizing on the latter, Fall Out Boy has displayed a sense of foresight difficult to overlook. America, Meet Downtown Scotty Brown

Matt Kiebus :: Friday, January 29th, 2010 1:45 pm

Senator-elect of Massachusetts, Scott Brown, made his late night television debut last night on the Jay Leno Show. His portion of the show acted as a national meet and greet for the newly elected senator, and thankfully he wasn’t pimping his daughters out to the American public. Brown stood fire to Leno’s usual tough questions and strengthened his position as your average everyman who happens to hold a high political office. MORE »

Zach Custer :: Friday, January 22nd, 2010 3:30 pm

On Thursday, January 21st, NBC and current Tonight Show host, Conan O’Brien, reached an agreement that will end his short stint as host of “The Tonight Show.” After weeks of finger-pointing about ratings and general disarray between the two parties and Jay Leno, O’Brien’s contract was finally bought out by NBC for $32.5 million, meaning his last show is tonight. Conan O’Brien’s Buyout Rivals that of Our Fearless Banking Leaders

Matt Kiebus :: Tuesday, January 19th, 2010 4:00 pm

The controversy surrounding The Tonight Show and the utter disarray of NBC has been a popular topic the past two weeks. Jimmy Kimmel Destroys Jay Leno

Matt Kiebus :: Friday, January 15th, 2010 3:10 pm

I don’t find Jimmy Kimmel funny, but last night he was the first person to metaphorically spit in Jay Leno’s face. And it was fucking awesome. As a guest on the already cancelled Jay Leno Show last night Kimmel participated in a segment Leno so cleverly names 10 at 10. Here’s where Mr. Leno asks, you guessed it, 10 questions at 10 o’clock. Kimmel killed it, and it was poetry in motion to watch a frustrated Jay Leno rush through the questions and to get Kimmel off the show as soon as possible. The following video is hysterical, cringe-worthy, and triumphant. Score one for Team Coco. MORE »

Conan O’Brien vs. Jay Leno. Steel Cage Death Match. Winner Gets the Tonight Show.

Matt Kiebus :: Thursday, January 14th, 2010 7:00 am

“I just wanted to say hosting the Tonight Show has been the fulfillment of a life-long dream for me. And I just want to say to the kids out there watching ‘you can do anything you want in life… unless Jay Leno wants to do it too.”

Ladies and gentleman welcome to the Tonight Show with dead-host-walking, Conan O’Brien. It’s a shame the American public will never be able to grow with the comedic genius of the redheaded wonder, at least not on NBC. MORE »
