Check Out This, Los Angeles
Isaac Lekach :: Friday, January 15th, 2010 9:00 am
Our good friends and contributors Jeremy & Claire Weiss started a new site with some friends (Dan Monik, Justin Van Hoy, and Aaron Farley). It’s called THIS, Los Angeles. They describe it as a communal gallery space, which serves as “a venue for artists to speak about their work, to interact with their audience and facilitate a creative atmosphere in the community.” Check out the video of Ted Adams’s performance here—in which we make a brief cameo! Holler! Do cruise the site. Bobby Birdman and Michael Runion recently stopped by and taped their own performances too.

Music Video: Bobby Birdman “Weighty Weight”
Isaac Lekach :: Friday, November 6th, 2009 3:15 pm
Bobby Birdman’s new record, New Moods, will be out next Tuesday courtesy of Fryk Beat. If you recall we posted a Free Download link for the first single “Only For A While” late September. If you blew it and didn’t download it then, do so now-here. New Moods is an eclectic record. His video for the track “Weighty Weight,” which was just released, is (pardon the choice of words) a great deal moodier than “Only For A While.” But who wants a record where every song sounds the same? If that’s your vibe listen to Nickleback. Check out the video after the jump.
