Sarah Palin’s Got Jokes… Cue “Applause” Sign

Sarah Palin is a jack-of-all-trades, a modern renaissance woman of sorts. What can’t she do? She is a governor, no wait she’s a vice-presidential candidate, a hip FOX News journalist, likely a presidential candidate in 2012, and a stand-up comedian? In an effort to sway the treasured “Jay Leno vote,” Palin did her best impression of a typical Leno monologue last night as a guest on The Tonight Show. It goes without saying she had the audience in stitches.
The Tonight Show has been a showcase for comedic talent for decades. It’s an honor to perform a stand-up routine on that stage. Normally it’s reserved for comedy royalty and rising comedians looking for their big break. Rodney Dangerfield and George Carlin are amongst the esteemed funny-men that have graced the Tonight Show stage. Jerry Seinfeld got his start when Johnny Carson was the host.
Now apparently Jay’s letting anyone test their comic chops on the once venerable late night talk show. Sure, there have been bad stand-up routines in the past, but at least they failed at doing their job. I’m not sure what Sarah Palin’s job is; delivering her expert commentary on world issues and Family Guy?
I don’t understand Palin’s logic; she must think she is funny by association. Maybe she thinks that since she is made fun of so often that she has absorbed a sense of humor via osmosis?
This breed of celebrity politicians with nothing to show for is growing and it needs to stop. Other than winning the Miss Wasilla pageant in 1984 what has Sarah Palin done? Who quits being governor of Alaska to be a journalist in this economy?
Jay Leno is trying to repair his public image the same way he did with his appearance on Oprah - with pity — but this time he’s being subtler. His average Joe image was tarnished and now he’s repairing the damage by aligning himself with similar “victims” of the liberal media, such as Sarah Palin.
Matt Klebus will need a Obama Bail Out before long.Get a job you actually can do.

palin is a woman of all seasons, and so far, master of all. you really should broaden your resources further than hufnpuf for your information. you sound like the paid smoke screen for obama’s screw-ups.
