Shit Going On In The World

Round II of the Battle of the Mustaches

Brenna Ehrlich :: Tuesday, November 10th, 2009 10:00 am

The Revolutionary and The Stylist face off after the jump.

The Revolutionary

The Man: Aaron Perlut, chairman and executive director of the American Mustache Institute
The ‘Stache: The Horseshoe
The Legend: “A mustache says a man is brave and proud and able to wear that lip hair across his upper lip in defiance of popular culture and what may or may not be acceptable. Bravery would be the first word I would associate with a mustached American.”

The Stylist

Ben Mollin, finalist on Bravo’s Shear Genius
“I actually refer to a mustache on guys as a ‘dick duster.’ So, I think they’re kind of ridiculous. But it’s one of those things. I think they look good on very ethnic-looking people. You know, that Hispanic Baca Loco look where it’s almost penciled-in around. I think they look really lame on white kids.”

Them’s fightin’ words, Mollin. Who won?
