Death+Taxes Issue 21 On Stands Now!

Stephen Blackwell :: Friday, September 4th, 2009 3:44 pm

It was once a little baby but now it’s all grown up: Death+Taxes has just turned 21. Not years obviously (I didn’t start the magazine when I was six) but we’ve just released our twenty-first issue, which features troubadours Phoenix on its cover. And there’s plenty more inside, including an interview with Zombieland star Jesse Eisenberg, a profile on the cast of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (Danny DeVito may be little, but he is deep), and The First Annual Death+Taxes Guide to Drinking. And as always, we feature plenty of great bands and reviews. Death+Taxes is available nationwide wherever books and magazines are sold. If your local bookstore doesn’t carry it, tell them to stop being stupid and order it.

There was a performance for Spinner to tape—which ended up running late—sound check, and our photo shoot. So we took a cue from the cover art of Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, their latest album, and painted the wall pink.
