But things have taken an even more bizarre turn now as ABC has released a video containing an interview with Edwards one-time aide Andrew Young, whom he managed to cajole into claiming paternity of the child to ensure Edwards secret was safe. E for Everett, Eels and now, End Times, Mark Everett’s “divorce” album where he merges the personal and the political, equating his personal loss with the world losing its integrity. 1998’s Electro-Shock Blues managed to capture the deaths of E’s family members quite captivatingly, so can he repeat the trick for the death of a relationship?

Smashing Pumpkins main-ego Billy Corgan is currently spending his time making beautiful music with his girlfriend, pop star Jessica Simpson. Working with producer Kelly Brown (who is also working on the Pumpkins’ upcoming release Teargarden by Kaleidyscope), the two have been collaborating in the studio, much to the chagrin of Pumpkins’ fans all over the world.

In a desperate measure to curb over-consumption, Britain’s politicians have demanded an increase in the cost of alcohol, as the entire nation’s problems have been attributed to the collective alcholism seemingly affecting the country. Rise in teenage pregnancies? Blame alcohol. Rise in drug use? Blame alcohol. Mass unemployment? Blame alcohol.

Shout Out Louds: “Fall Hard” Video and Tour

Shout Out Louds’ new album Work will be in stores on February 23. Their North American tour will begin on May 2 at the 9.30 Club in Washington, DC, and culminates with a performance at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, CA, on May 21.
In addition to the tour, the band has released a music video for the first single from Work entitled “Fall Hard”. Watch the video here.
