Adam Green To Play Not So Secret Show in NYC Tonight

Isaac Lekach :: Monday, December 14th, 2009 9:00 am

You never know what to expect from troubadour Adam Green. We only wish we were in attendance when Green showed up drunk to taping of a German talk show, sat on the host’s lap and kissed him. All Youtube links have been disabled, but we assure you-it happened. That’s why, if you’re in New York tonight, we recommend going to Lit Lounge (93 2nd Ave at 5 St.). It’s rare to catch Green in smaller venues as of late and he’ll probably cause some sort of stir that Youtube will inevitably ban (on top of playing songs from, Minor Love, his forthcoming sixth solo album, out 2/16 on Fat Possum, of course). For more on Adam Green we recommend reading his blog and following him on twitter (@averagecabbage).

Tillman introduced the magic that is Har Mar Superstar to America last night, well at least the ones up past 12AM. He performed his first single “Tall Boy” from his recently dropped album Dark Touches on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, draped in an African caftan and gold lame gloves. MORE »
